Happy New Year!

I've added some new pics to the Gallery page (finally....I know it's been awhile).  I'm also working on a couple other changes to the site.  We'll call all the updating a jump start on my new year's resolution.  Speaking of which, I am available this coming Saturday for makeovers at Glamour Boutique.  I won't be heading to any NYE parties, but I hope everyone that does has a great time.

2012 Events

I've recently updated the Calendar page to reflect all the events happening in 2012 that I'm currently aware of.  Remember, just because it's on the calendar does not mean that I'm personally attending.  I just want people to be aware of some of the options for going out in the area.  I have the list of events I'll be attending in the side bar to the right (also recently updated for 2012).  If you have an event you think others should know about, shoot me an email and I'll add it.

I'll be updating the site over the next couple weeks with more pictures and links.  I'm opening the comment board so you can leave your input on what would make the website more interesting and useful for you.  In the meantime, I hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday season!

Successful Halloween

Sounds like everyone I talked to had a lot of fun this past weekend!  Unfortunately, my Halloween weekend was cut a little short with a slippery snowstorm.  I do not approve of snow before November...but Mother Nature didn't ask me.

On the up side, the Glamour Boutique Halloween party was a ton of fun on Friday.  I had a great time getting dolled up, as did about 70 other people.  The Indian Meadow Country Club did not disappoint, the treats were yummy (yes, I'm biased), and it was just an overall perfect way to spend a Friday night.  Even though I can't remember the names of the winners, congratulations to the winners of the Sexiest Legs, Sexiest Walk, and Best Costume contests.

Hopefully Glamour Boutique will do more parties in the future, and girls come to enjoy themseves again!

October happenings

There's so much fun planned out in October in the TG world.  I will try to keep my calendar as updated as possible for where I'll be and when I'm available for makeovers.  I'm particularly excited for the Glamour Boutique's Halloween Party planned for 10/28.

It will be held at the Indian Meadows Country Club.  Many of you may remember the venue from the days of Club Femme.  It's a beautiful facility, conveniently located in Westborough, and privately set back from Route 9.  There are also private rooms to change clothes or do makeup, and I will be available for makeovers on site as well.  Paula Howard will be DJing the party, I'll be bringing lots of Halloween treats, and John Warrener is arranging some other festive activities.

The party celebrates not only Halloween, but also marks Glamour Boutique's 15th year in business.  Over these last 15 years, Glamour Boutique has served many in the community, and opened doors for people just venturing out of the closet.  My sincerest hope is that there will be many people attending to help celebrate.  For a VIP pass, just drop in at Glamour Boutique in Auburn!

SCC 2011

I'm back from a fabulous trip down to Southern Comfort in Atlanta.  My second time down there, I was not disappointed in the least.  Sometimes you think maybe an event is exceptionally fun because it's a new experience.  Definitely not the case with Southern Comfort.  I was able to catch up with old friends, meet new ones, and get to know acquaintences much better.  And as an added bonus, I had a celebrity brush at the Atlanta airport on my way home Sunday.

It seems like October is sneaking up on me fairly quickly now that SCC is over, but I'm looking forward to the Halloween holiday season!

RCC on 9/10

I will be getting a room at the Marriott to do makeovers before RCC this Saturday.  The hotel is very close to the club; it's pretty much impossible to get lost going hotel to club.  Contact me for an appointment if you're interested!

Triangles!

It's been awhile, and eventually I might type up all my thoughts on my first Be-All Conference, but suffice it for now to say that I had a great time while in Chicago.  I was told it was was a smaller turnout than past years, but that's been true for almost all the events I've gone to in the past 12 months or so.  It was a lot of fun to meet so many new people and make some excellent new friends.

Lately I've been hitting spots closer to home.  Last weekend I went to RCC for the first time in months and rocked the karaoke happening upstairs.  There was a good turnout, but I was disappointed not too many people hit the dance floor.  Or perhaps they did and I just wasn't around to see them.  It was a gorgeous night so it might just have been that everyone wanted to take full advantage of the patio.

This Saturday is Triangles down in Danbury, CT.  The theme is sexy lingerie, and I expect it will be as popular a theme as it was last time.  Looking forward to another great night out!

Be-All

One week from now I'll be in Chicago for Be-All!  It's my first time attending, and I'm very excited about seeing how Be-All compares to the other events I go to.  I'm taking appointments in advance, so shoot me an email if you're attending.  I will also be taking appointments on site during the conference.  Even if you're not in the market for a makeover this time around, it's always good to see a familiar face, so come say hi!

Prom Time!

Triangles this Saturday, 4/16, is themed "Night of 100 Gowns".  I'll be there in my buttercup yellow prom gown from high school.  As always, don't feel you have to follow the suggested theme; it's better to show up in something you're comfortable in than not show up at all!

Sunday is a shopping day at Ann Taylor in Harvard Square.  Located at 44 Brattle Street in Cambridge, the store is staying open 6-8pm, especially for T Girls to come in and have a comfortable shopping time.
